Türkiye’nin dış politikada son dönemde attığı hızlı adımlar sınır komşusu olan devletlerle de devam etmektedir. Bu çalışmada Türkiye’nin, sınır komşusu Ermenistan ile olan ilişkilerinin ekonomik ve siyasi boyutu son dönem gelişmeleriyle birlikte ele alınmıştır. Ayrıca bu ilişkiler, Ermenistan’ın da içinde bulunduğu Güney Kafkasya Bölgesi’ni bir bütün olarak değerlendirerek ve atılacak adımların bölgeye sağlayacağı istikrarla kazanılacak ekonomik ve siyasi yararları da düşünerek ele alınmış ve sonuçlar buna göre yorumlanmıştır. Çalışmada, Ermenistan’la ilişkilerin arttırılmasıyla özellikle kısa ve orta vadede elde edilecek ekonomik yararların boyutunun çok büyük olamayacağı görülmüştür. Ancak bir bütün olarak Güney Kafkasya istikrara kavuşursa Türkiye’nin bölgesel kazançları uzun vadede çok daha fazla olacaktır. Bu bağlamda atılacak ilk adımın, Türkiye-Ermenistan-Azerbaycan arasındaki ekonomik-politik çıkmazı çözmeye yönelik olması gerekmektedir The quick steps that Turkey has recently taken in foreign policy are continuing also with the neighboring States. In this study, economic and political dimension Turkey’s relationship with Armenia is dealt with the recent developments. Furthermore, these relationships have been tackled by thinking the economic and political profits which will be reached with the stabilization that the future-steps will provide the region and by evaluating completely the Southern Region of Caucasia including Armenia. So the result has been assessed according to this point of view. In the study, it is seen that the dimension of economic profits which will be gained in the short and long run especially, by increasing the level of the relationship with Armenia will not be great. But, if the South Caucasia reaches the stabilization as a whole, the regional profits of Turkey will also be so much in the long run. Having regard to this, the first step should be toward the solution in working out the political and economical deadlock among Turkey, Armenia and Azerbaijan
