The aim of this study is to teach the principals of primary education school the period how SWOT analyses is done by doing-experiencing and to examine obtained data and to get results about primary education schools. The research is qualitative study. The data of the research were collected from 517 school princpals from Amasya, Corum, Tokat provinces which are ISAP (Improving School Administration Project) that Primary Education General Management implemented primary education principals oriented. Content analysis was made of the views of school principals. According to the setting area of the schools which school principals work; strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of primary schools have emerged and recommendations have been developed. When the views of the school principal were examined, according to the setting area of the primary schools (province / county town, town, village), strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats have changed.
