REPRESENTASI PESAN-PESAN DAKWAH DALAM FILM AYAT-AYAT CINTA

Abstract

Film memiliki potensi untuk memengaruhi dan membentuk masyarakat berdasarkan muatan pesan dibaliknya. Salah satu film yang cukup fenomenal adalah film Ayat-Ayat Cinta. Film ini sarat dengan pesan-pesan dakwah. Karenanya, kajian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui representasi pesan-pesan dakwah secara verbal dan nonverbal dalam film Ayat-Ayat Cinta. Kajian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan analisis semiotika Roland Barthes untuk mengetahui makna denotatif, makna konotatif, dan mitos/ideologi yang tersembunyi dalam film tersebut. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan studi dokumentasi, studi kepustakaan, dan wawancara mendalam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa film AyatAyat Cinta merupakan film yang merepresentasikan pesan-pesan dakwah, baik pesan verbal maupun pesan nonverbal. Pesan-pesan dakwah verbal ada yang bersifat mengajak, seperti anjuran menikah, menjunjung tinggi perempuan, dan berperilaku adil dalam berpoligami, hubungan sesama Muslim. Ada yang bersifat melarang, seperti dilarang bersentuhan dengan yang bukan mahramnya. Demikian juga, pesan-pesan dakwah nonverbal ada yang bersifat mengajak, seperti menjaga pandangan untuk menghindari zina mata dan mengerjakan shalat sebagai media komunikasi spiritual, dan ada yang bersifat melarang, seperti aurat laki- laki.
