Histopatologi Paru-paru Tikus Putih Betina Akibat Pemberian Imbuhan Ragi Tape pada Pakan Tikus

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan gambaran histopatologi paru-paru tikus putih betina akibat pemberian ragi tape dengan dosis bertingkat. Sebanyak 24 tikus putih betina dikelompokkan menjadi empat perlakuan dan enam ulangan yaitu P0: kontrol; P1: pemberian pakan dicampur ragi tape dengan dosis 100 mg/kgBB; P2: pemberian pakan dicampur ragi tape dengan dosis 200 mg/kgBB; dan P3: pemberian pakan dicampur ragi tape dengan dosis 300 mg/kgBB. Perlakuan diberikan selama 21 hari, kemudian tikus putih betina pada semua kelompok dinekropsi di hari ke-22. Jaringan paru-paru diambil untuk pembuatan preparat dengan pewarnaan Harris-Hematoxyline Eosin (HE). Parameter yang diamati meliputi adanya kongesti, inflamasi, dan nekrosis. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji Kruskal-Wallis dan Mann-Whitney. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terjadi perubahan histopatologi paru-paru tikus putih betina akibat pemberian ragi tape. Ragi tape menyebabkan perubahan histopatologi paru-paru tikus betina secara signifikan pada inflamasi dan nekrosis, sedangkan kongesti tidak berbeda nyata. Hal ini dapat disimpulkan pemberian ragi tape sebagai kontrasepsi alami dapat mengakibatkan perubahan histopatologi paru-paru tikus betina.
