Abstract

La escorrentía superficial provoca la erosión y pérdida de suelo fértil. Los trabajos dirigidos a su prevención y corrección son de gran interés tanto desde el punto de vista agrícola como medioambiental. Para su estudio se utilizan equipos medidores de caudal o aforadores, siendo los de tipo basculante los de uso más generalizado por su simple diseño y comportamiento fiable. Sin embargo, en situaciones concretas como presencia de viento fuerte o altas cadencias de basculación su comportamiento es impreciso. Además, por su diseño, la instalación en campo suele presentar dificultades. En este trabajo se describe un aforador que elimina estas limitaciones mediante la sustitución del sistema basculante por uno de tipo giratorio. Está formado por un cilindro horizontal dividido axialmente en dos semicilindros que se sitúan alternativamente mediante semigiros en posición receptora de la escorrentía. La basculación se produce cuando la escorrentía recogida alternativamente en cada uno de los semicilindros alcanza un volumen determinado. Este volumen se controla mediante un sensor de nivel y el giro se produce por medio de un motorreductor. El equipo trabaja a 12V con un bajo consumo y su diseño es escalable mediante la simple sustitución del cilindro receptor.
