Abstract

En el Perú, los pavimentos rígidos representan un gran riesgo para la sociedad en muchas de sus zonas, debido a que las numerosas estructuras viales sufren daños ante diversos eventos climáticos especialmente ante las precipitaciones pluviales. Actualmente, los pavimentos tradicionales predominan en las ciudades peruanas y se implementan con sistemas complementarios para el drenaje superficial. Sin embargo, cuando no están bien diseñados, no cumplen sus funciones adecuadamente y conllevan a costosas reparaciones. La zona de estudio es un tramo de la Avenida Universitaria ubicada en la sierra sur peruana de la ciudad de Huamanga, departamento de Ayacucho. Este tramo presenta fallas estructurales debido a la acumulación pluvial, tales como la degradación prematura del pavimento, fisuras, grietas, losas divididas, pérdida de adherencia, entre otros problemas. Por ello, se plantea un diseño de mezcla del concreto permeable que posee un bajo comportamiento mecánico; sin embargo, se adicionó la fibra de vidrio (FV) en proporciones de 1%, 2% y 3%, siguiendo las normas de diseño mezcla ACI 522R-10 para mejorar las capacidades de soporte a la compresión, flexo-tracción, y permeabilidad. Finalmente, se analizó los resultados sobre el comportamiento mecánico del concreto permeable en estado endurecido con una proporción del 1% de fibra de vidrio, se demuestra que esta modificación es superior a las demás proporciones de fibra y al concreto permeable base. La mezcla alcanzó una resistencia a la compresión de 262.25 kg/cm², una resistencia a la flexo-tracción de 35.6 kg/cm² y una permeabilidad de 0.94 cm/s.
