Repensando la catequesis

Abstract

El libro responde modestamente al voto del Papa Juan Pablo II en Catechesis Tradendae: En este final del siglo XX, Dios y los acontecimientos, que son otras tantas llamadas de su parte, invitan a la Iglesia a renovar su confianza en la acción catequética como en una tarea absolutamente primordial de su misión. Es invitada a consagrar a la catequesis sus mejores recursos en hombres y en energías, sin ahorrar esfuerzos, fatigas y medios materiales, para organizarla mejor y formar personal capacitado. En ello no hay un mero cálculo humano, sino una actitud de fe. Y una actitud de fe se dirige siempre a la fidelidad a Dios, que nunca deja de responder. (CT 15).Los autores han emprendido diversas acciones y actividades para posicionar la catequesis, en el ámbito universitario y eclesial colombiano, como un campo necesitado de nuevas investigaciones y de nuevos planteamientos tendientes a re-significarla como práctica eclesial. Parte de esta intencionalidad es la búsqueda y promoción de una mentalidad catequética que posibilite articular experiencia de fe, encuentro y transformación de la realidad, diálogo de saberes, interdisciplinariedad, participación eclesial y formación de creyentes.
