INFLUÊNCIA DA TEMPERATURA DE CULTIVO SOBRE CRESCIMENTO E DIFERENCIAÇÃO SEXUAL DE ROBALO-PEVA, CENTROPOMUS PARALLELUS POEY, 1860

Abstract

O objetivo do trabalho foi avaliar a influência da temperatura sobre o crescimento e diferenciação sexual do robalo-peva, Centropomus parallelus. Um total de 540 peixes com 58 dias após a fertilização (DAF), peso médio 0,042 ± 0,018 g e comprimento médio 16,3 ± 2,7 mm foi distribuído em nove tanques de 80 litros. As temperaturas (tratamentos): 20 (T1), 25 (T2) e 30 °C (T3) foram mantidas por trinta dias. Após este período, a temperatura da água de todos os tanques foi ajustada em 26 °C por dois meses. Mensalmente foram realizadas biometrias para verificação de peso (g), comprimento (mm), fator de condição e taxa de crescimento específico (TCE). No final, os animais foram sacrificados e fixados para histologia das gônadas.
