</script>Este artículo busca aclarar la diferencia que hay, según Kant, entre el conocimiento filosófico y el matemático. Existe, en efecto, el malentendido casi generalizado de que Kant promueve un pensamiento filosófico que, en cuanto al método, no sería sino una copia del pensamiento matemático y de sus procedimientos aplicables a las ciencias exactas, aunque esto no sea cierto.
