Abstract

The optimization problems of pulse synthesis for spectrally effective multicomponent signals are considered taking into account a given spectral mask. A solution is proposed for different types of optimization problems. It is shown that the pulses obtained by the problem of minimizing the partial correlation coefficients are the best. The spectral mask and other parameters for encoders LDPC and BCH are taken from the DVB-S2 standard. The simulation results showed that the transition from RRC-pulses to multicomponent optimal pulses leads to an increase in spectral efficiency by 10% with energy losses of about 0.1 and 0.25 dB for QPSK and 8PSK, respectively.
