Abstract

Objective of the work: To design a printed edition of Franz Kafka’s “Labyrinth.” Tasks addressed during the research: 1. Analyze similar works: illustrations for comparable literary pieces and previous editions of this work. 2. Develop the concept for the future book. 3. Create original illustrations that align with the concept. 4. Select a modular grid, font, color scheme, and layout the text. 5. Create a mockup of the book and its cover. 6. Prepare the book for printing and production. As part of the Final Qualification Project, a graphic design solution for Franz Kafka’s “Labyrinth” was developed, including animation for the book’s bookmark.
