Manhattan SCALE

Abstract

The given work is devoted to the research and analysis of existing optimization methods for the inventory management problem, as well as the development of an optimized solution based on the multicriteria optimization method. The research set the following goals: 1) Research of existing models of the inventory management problem, as well as optimization methods applied to them; 2) Describing of the WMS Manhattan SCALE system, its functionality and database structure; 3) Analysis of criteria and strategies for inventory management, application of methods for analyzing hierarchies and multicriteria optimization to them; 4) Analysis of the current state of the system and development of solutions for optimizing warehouse processes; 5) Assessment of changes in the performance of the inventory management system due to the implementation of the developed solution. The analysis was conducted by the following methods: analytical, graphical, expert assessment method, hierarchy analysis method, Pareto optimization method. The novelty lies in the development of solutions for optimizing warehouse processes based on the WMS Manhattan SCALE. The result of the work is an increase in the speed of order processing and inventory accuracy, as a result, an overall increase in the productivity of operations carried out in the WMS Manhattan SCALE. The solution was implemented and tested on the servers of the consulting company KORUS Consulting.
