Abstract

Microsoft Excel.

This work is devoted to the study of the effect of a tumor and a cytostatic drug on the colon microbiome of experimental animals. Tasks that were solved during the research: • Fecal sampling of experimental animals; •Conducting primary seeding of biological material on selective solid nutrient media; • Morphological assessment of microbial colony growth; •Identification of microorganisms using the MALDI–TOF AUTOF MS 1000 microbiological mass spectrometer; •Conducting histological examination of the colon of experimental animals; • Analysis of the results obtained. The work was carried out on the basis of NVLP LLC. Bacteria grown on nutrient media during sowing of the studied samples were studied and identified, as well as histological sections of the colon of experimental animals were analyzed. The research results demonstrate that the gut microbiota plays an important role in malignant neoplasms and has a potential antitumor effect, which makes it a promising object for further research in oncology. The following databases were used to perform the literature review: eLibrary.RU, Elsevier ScienceDirect, Scopus, PubMed. Statistical processing of experimental data was carried out using Microsoft Excel software.
