Tasks that were solved in the course of the study: 1. The study of the theoretical side of the term migration, migration processes and the classification of its types. 2. Historical analysis of population movements. 3. Identification of the main directions of migration in China. 4. Trends in resolving issues of migration processes today. The work was carried out based on existing works on migration issues by such authors as: Larin V.L., Anokhina E.S., Nefedov S.A., Gelbras V.G. and others. A historical analysis was made, which outlined certain trends in the resettlement of the Chinese people both at home and abroad. The research methods were: analysis, systematic approach, classification, observation and compare. As a result, the migration policy of China from ancient times to the present day was analyzed.
