Abstract

The purpose of this study is to develop recommendations for improving the efficiency of the functioning of voice warning systems for people in case of fire.To achieve this goal, the following tasks were performed: Analysis of existing requirements for the system of speech alerts. Analysis of the factors influencing the efficiency of the speech notification. Study of existing methods for assessing speech intelligibility and factors influencing it. Conducting an assessment of the intelligibility of a speech alert using a program for converting speech to text. Based on the conducted studies, development of recommendations for improving the efficiency of the functioning of voice warning systems for people about a fire.In the process of writing a master's thesis, an analysis was made of existing methods for assessing speech intelligibility in various fields. A method for evaluating the intelligibility of a speech notification using a program for converting speech into text is proposed. Based on the results of the assessment of speech intelligibility using a speech-to-text program, recommendations were developed to improve the efficiency of the functioning of speech fire warning systems.
