Abstract

The work is devoted to complex formation and creation of the concept of improvement of a part of the shoreline of Dudergofsky lake in St. Petersburg, working out of a complex of measures on improvement of quality of water territory and increase of comfort of the environment and estimation of the received results. As a result of the work a functional coastal zone was designed to increase the potential of the coastal space of Lake Dudergofsky and its restoration. Namely, a complex formation and landscape organization of the shoreline of the lake was carried out. The relevance of the topic is that the coastal areas, which could become a place for public activities and recreation of residents and visitors often do not use their potential, polluted and abandoned. Now there is an urgent issue of preservation, development and maintenance of urban water bodies and their coastal areas. There is also a lack of recreational areas and areas of other purposes in cities, which could be coastal areas. Many coastal areas do not use their full potential. It is necessary to restore and maintain the ecological balance and the appearance of cities through the formation and organization of such environments. This requires a careful selection of methods for the development of coastal spaces.
