В данной работе изложена сущность избирательного права граждан, как основы для осуществления народовластия. Даны понятие, принципы и классификация избирательного права. Рассмотрены правосубъектность граждан в сфере избирательного права и гарантии их обеспечения. На конкретных примерах рассмотрены виды ответственности за нарушения избирательных прав граждан. Определены проблемные аспекты в области реализации гражданами избирательных прав и предложены возможные пути их решения. 

In the given work the essence of the electoral right of citizens, as the basis for the implementation of democracy. The concept, principles and classification of the electoral right are given. The legal personality of citizens in the field of electoral law and guarantees of their provision are considered. On specific examples, the types of responsibility for violations of the electoral rights of citizens are considered. The problematic aspects in the field of realization of electoral rights by citizens are identified and possible ways of their solution are proposed.
