Abstract

Topic of the final qualification work: "Development and research of a rotary feeder in a coating device for metal powder". This work is devoted to the analysis of existing devices for coating metal powder in existing additive machines, the development of a rotary feeder for coating metal powder, also to study dependence of the kinematic parameters of the device. Tasks that were solved in the course of the study: 1. Determination of existing metal powder coating devices used in additive machines; 2. Determination of the best version of the device; 3. Selection of parameters for the development of the coating device; 4. Simulation of the process of filling the groove with metal powder from the tank. The paper reflects the information obtained during studying the relevant materials on coating devices and additive machines in general. Studies were carried out to determine the appropriate operating parameters of the device. The object of study was a rotary feeder. As a result, the operating parameters of this device and the dependence graphs of the kinematic parameters were obtained, and the design of the rotary feeder and the experimental stand was developed.
