Abstract

This work is devoted to the development of an optimization model and methodology for substantiating the optimal schedule and volume of supplies of building materials to the construction site. Tasks that were solved during the study: Review and analysis of scientific works of domestic and foreign authors in the field under consideration. Development of the optimization model for substantiating the characteristics of transport and warehouse processes being implemented within construction project. Development and implementation on a practical example of the procedure for substantiating the characteristics of transport and warehouse construction processes using optimization modeling tools. Within the framework of this study, the following results were obtained: The review and analysis of domestic and foreign literature in the field under consideration, namely in the field of substantiation of the characteristics of the processes of delivery of material and technical resources from the central warehouse of the construction company to the warehouse of the construction site with the use of various vehicles during the construction process. Based on the results of the analysis, a conclusion was made about the limitations of existing developments in this area. The optimization model has been developed to substantiate the characteristics of transport and warehouse processes being implemented within construction project. The specified model corresponds to the procedure of partial-integer linear optimization and can be implemented using optimization modeling software environments. The procedure for substantiation of the characteristics of transport and warehouse construction processes has been developed and implemented on a practical example. Based on the results obtained, conclusions are drawn about the adequacy of the results obtained, as well as the possibility of applying the developed procedure in the activity of construction organizations.
