Abstract

The theme of graduation qualification work: «Marine engine with a power of 1250 kW»This work is devoted to the calculation and design of a marine diesel engine, the development of a pressurization, lubrication, cooling, and fuel supply system. Tasks that were solved in the course of work:Calculation of the working process.-Dynamic calculation of the engine.-Engine balance analysis.-Calculation of the crankshaft, connecting rod and piston ring for strength.-Development and calculation of the boost system.-Development of engine drawings (longitudinal and cross-section).-During the development of the engine, an analysis was made of the trend in the design of medium and high-speed marine diesel engines. The working process was calculated according to the Grinevetsky-Mazing method, dynamic calculation and balance analysis were carried out. Designed for strength: connecting rod, crankshaft, and piston ring. When developing the engine, programs such as «Microsoft Word», «Microsoft Excel», «KOMPAS - 3D», «Autodesk Inventor» were used.
