Abstract

Тема выпускной квалификационной работы: «Влияние пандемии COVID-19 на имидж Китайской Народной Республики в отражении китайских и зарубежных средств массовой информации». Данная работа посвящена оценке влияния пандемии COVID-19 на отражение международного политического имиджа КНРв новостных сетевых средствах массовой информации.Задачи, которые решались в ходе исследования: 1) Определение термина «имидж государства», дифференцируя его от понятий «образ государства» и «имидж страны»; 2) Описание методов влияния новостных СМИ на процесс формирования внутреннего и международного имиджа государства; 3) Определение позиции КНРв вопросе создания государственного имиджа на мировой арене; 4) Контент-анализ выборки новостных статей на китайском языке на тему эпидемии коронавируса и выделение тенденций формирования государственного имиджа во внутренних СМИ; 5) Контент-анализ выборки англоязычных и русскоязычных новостных статей на тему распространения COVID-19 для определения специфики имиджа КНРи динамики его изменений в зарубежной новостной прессе. В работе был проведен количественный и качественный контент-анализ на основе разработанного автором комплекса критериев и параметров оценки отражения имиджа государства в новостных СМИ. Также применялись методы: описание, анализ, синтез, классификация, периодизация, экстраполяция. В результате на основе отражения во внутренних и зарубежных новостных СМИ был проанализирован государственный имидж КНР. Был сделан вывод о положительном влиянии мер правительства КНРпо сдерживанию распространения инфекции на отражение внешнеполитического имиджа. Были предложены рекомендации по улучшению стратегии формирования государственного имиджа КНРна международной арене.

The subject of the graduate qualification work is «The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the image of the People's Republic of China in the Chinese and foreign media». The given work is devoted to evaluation of the COVID-19 pandemic impact on the reflection of the international political image of the People's Republic of China in online news media. The research set the following goals: 1) Definition of «state image», differentiating it from the concepts of «state portrayal» and « country image»; 2) Description of the news media influence methods on the process of constructing internal and international state image; 3) Determining the PRC’s position on creating global state image in international relations; 4) Content analysis of selected news articles in Chinese on the topic of the coronavirus epidemic with highlighting trends in the state image formation process in domestic media; 5) Content analysis of selected news articles in English and Russian on the spread of COVID-19 to determine the specifics of the PRC international image and the dynamics of its changes in the foreign news press. The methodical framework includes a quantitative and qualitative content analysis which was carried out on the basis of a set of criteria and parameters for assessing the state's image reflection in the news media developed by the author. Description, analysis, synthesis, classification, periodization, extrapolation methods were also used in given work.The study resulted into analysis of the PRC’s state image based on the reflection in domestic and foreign news media. The measures of the Chinese government to contain the spread of infection had a positive impact on the reflection of the state international image. Recommendations were proposed to improve the strategy for forming the state image of the PRC in the international arena.
