Abstract

The topic of the graduate qualification work: Non-fungible tokens in the financial market. The work is devoted to the analysis of the phenomenon of non-interchangeable tokens, the interaction of tokens and blockchain, the application of non-interchangeable tokens, the analysis of the NFT project STEPN, the study of the main problems of the NFT market, the development of recommendations to overcome existing barriers to development. Tasks to be solved during the research: 1. definition of the concepts of decentralization, blockchain, non-interchangeability, token. 2. Analysis of areas of application of non-interchangeable tokens. 3. Analysis of the STEPN project. 4. Making recommendations for the STEPN project NFT development. The work was carried out based on the main principles of the developing sphere of cryptocurrency assets: the principles of decentralization, the basics of blockchain structure as a basis for transactions, the principle of non-exchangeability, due to which the uniqueness of NFT is built, Smart-Contract technology, allowing to provide copyright protection for all non-exchangeable tokens. As a result of the work, the basic concepts were outlined to arrive at a holistic understanding of the technology of non-interchangeable tokens. The fields of application of non-interchangeable tokens were analyzed. Further, a comprehensive analysis of the STEPN project NFT was conducted to break down in more detail the position of non-interchangeable tokens in the financial market. After the historical analysis, analysis of the mechanics and tokenomics of the project, conclusions were made about the project's profitability. Based on the conducted research, the problems of STEPN project development were deduced and recommendations for overcoming the main barriers to project development were developed.
