Abstract

In the given work the modern linguistic situation in Scotland is stated. The history of Scottish English is investigated. The characteristic of Scottish English from language systematicsâ€™s point of view is given. Grammar features of Scottish English are lead. Derived words from Scottish English to other languages are investigated. Samples of Scottish literature from XVIII to XXI centuries is analyzed.
