Abstract

The given work is devoted to the development of interface between ASTRA and FIDASIM codes, LOS optimization of FIDA diagnostic on TUMAN-3M tokamak and study of main work principles of FIDA diagnostic and FIDASIM simulation suit during the collaboration on TCV. Main dependencies of FIDA signal on various plasma parameters were demonstrated using simulation and LOS optimization was done. Moreover, using developed independent processing tool feasibility of experimental data for further parametrization and analysis was proved. FIDA diagnostic on TUMAN-3M tokamak is on the development stage. It requires LOS optimization and improvement of spectra’ quality. To perform this interface between ASTRA and FIDASIM and algorithm which sets up a simulation were developed. Simulation showed, that there is more preferable LOS of FIDA diagnostic on TUMAN-3M tokamak in comparison with existing one.
