Abstract

The given work is devoted to matching the waveguide of a three-layer ferrite-dielectric-ferrite structure with a standard supply waveguide by means of one-stage and two-stage coordinators. The subject of this work relates to the field of radiophysics. Two structures are investigated in the work: a one-stage coordinator for a ferrite-dielectric-ferrite (FDF) waveguide and a two-stage coordinator for a FDF waveguide. Purpose of work: modeling in the HFSS software package a coordinator for a ferrite-dielectric-ferrite (FDF) structure. The study is carried out by modeling these structures in the HFSS software package using the finite element method. The work consists of two main parts. The first part is devoted to phased array antennas (PAR), in particular integrated phased array with a three-layer waveguide FDF structure. The second part of the work includes models of the structures under study and the results of their modeling, namely: graphs of the frequency dependences of the SWR, S-parameters, and field distribution. As a result, we obtained the frequency bandwidths (at the SWR level of 1.25): for a single-stage transformer of the order of 1.7 GHz; for a two-stage transformer of about 2 GHz.
