Abstract

Тема выпускной квалификационной работы: «Языковая презентация виртуального мира англоязычного городского фэнтези (на материале произведений Нила Геймана)». Данная работа посвящена выявлению лингвостилистических методов построения виртуального мира в рамках городского фэнтези на материале художественных произведений Нила Геймана, современного английского писателя-фантаста, наиболее известного читателям благодаря таким произведениям, как «Американские боги», «Никогде», «Звёздная пыль» и др. Задачи, которые решались в ходе исследования: 1) Определить критерии художественного текста и метажанра фэнтези. 2) Проанализировать понятие «городское фэнтези». 3) Изучить понятие виртуального мира и способы его построения. 4) Рассмотреть понятие мифореставрации и примеры её использования. В результате исследования было проанализировано понятие метажанра фэнтези и его классификация, фэнтезийные хронотопы, использование аллюзий и реалий. Особое внимание было уделено изучению мифореставрации как способа построения виртуального мира фэнтезийного англоязычного произведения поджанра городского фэнтези на материале произведений Нила Геймана «Никогде» и «Американские боги».

The topic of the master thesis is «Linguistic presentation of the vertual world of English-language urban fantasy (based on the works of Neil Gaiman)». This work reveals the linguistic-stylistic methods of the vertual world construction process within the framework of the urban fantasy based on the material of the literary works of Neil Gaiman, a modern English fantasy writer mostly known for such fantasy novels as «American Gods», «Neverwhere», «Stardust», etc. The research set the following tasks: 1) To determine the criteria for the literary text and the fantasy metagenre. 2) To analyze the concept of «urban fantasy». 3) To study the concept of the vertual world and its’ constructing methods. 4) To consider the concept of mythological restoration and to analyze the examples of its usage in the fantasy literature. The results of the study are the analysis of the fantasy metagenre concept and its classification, as well as the fantasy chronotopes, the use of allusions and culturespecific concepts. Special attention was paid to the study of the mythological restoration as the method of the vertual world construction process in the English fantasy on the material of Neil Gaiman’s literary works such as «Neverwhere» and «American Gods».
