Abstract

The paper describes the methods for solving the discrete geodetic problem: the Mitchell-Mount-Papadimitriou method and the GeodesicAdam method. Algorithms for calculating geodetic paths between two points on discrete surfaces are developed. Software has been developed that solves the discrete geodetic problem for two points. The performance of the algorithms is evaluated and the best algorithm for solving the discrete geodesic problem by the vector quality criterion is selected.

Keywords
