Abstract

The use of atrium spaces in public buildings is becoming more frequent. Such popularity is due to such advantages as: • Ergonomics and economy; • Durability and endurance; • Heat insulation and tightness; • Fire safety The article is devoted to a comparative assessment of the use of various types of used structural elements: a system of metal trusses and a system of metal beams. According to results of the assessment the most effective type of construction will be identified.
