Abstract

The results of experimental investigation about mechanics of polymeric fiber and concrete matrix interaction are presented at this work. Mechanical and viscoelastic properties of fibers with different geometry were studied. Pull-out tests for fibers and concrete matrix were conducted. The results were analyzed, the dependences between fiber properties and its connection with concrete matrix were established. The recommendations for effective use of fiber in concrete were set up.
