Stirling Machine use in cooling systems of Data Centres

Abstract

This master thesis research encompasses analysis and estimation of a Stirling machine work as a key element of a cooling system in Data Centre. Stirling machines have never been used in cooling system of Data Centres before. Comparison of technical and economical parameters of air-cooled water-pumped chillers and Stirling engines is delivered. Specific features of Data Centres are considered, and recommendations on cooling systems design for DCs are given.
