Abstract

The training manual discusses the basic concepts and terms of nano- and bionanotechnology, information on the specific features of the structure and principles of functioning, development, and application of nano- and bionanomachines. The authors consider methods and ways of manipulation of atoms and molecules for solving nanotechnological problems, as well as mechanisms for creating structures and functional complexes at the atomic and molecular level using biological prototypes; protein folding; the role of self-assembling in the process of protein formation; the prospects of using the achievements of bionanotechnology in everyday life and in various spheres of economic activity. The manual is intended for students and postgraduate students of the chemical and biological profile studying in the enlarged group of specializations 190000 "Industrial ecology and biotechnology"; it will also be useful for specialists of scientific organizations carrying out research in the field of scientific specializations 19.04.01 "Biotechnology" (from 2024 - 29.01.7.1 "Biotechnology").
