The handbook contains the material necessary for students to acquire knowledge and practical skills in applying modern methods of computational fluid dynamics for hydrodynamic, cavitation and erosion calculations of flow in the flow path of vane pumps based on the Ansys Fluent software package in mastering the disciplines «Digital models of hydraulic systems», «Computer, network and information technology in science and industry», «Computer technology in science». It is intended for students and a wide range of specialists in the field of power engineering (scientific major is coded 05.04.13 «Hydraulic machines and hydropneumatics units»).
