
Antropoceno es el nombre dado a la era geológica en que vivimos afectada por la actividad de la humanidad, en la que se han producido grandes quiebres en nuestra relación con la naturaleza, con efectos catastróficos como el calentamiento global. En el contexto actual de graves amenazas medioambientales, el Diseño no puede mantenerse al margen. Las artes visuales atienden estas problemáticas desde hace más de cinco décadas y el Diseño está despertando a estas necesidades en forma potente, a través de la reutilización, el reciclaje y la elaboración de nuevos materiales.
