Türkiye’de Turizm Gelirleri-Ekonomik Büyüme İlişkisi: Ardl Sınır Testi Yaklaşımı

Abstract

Bu calismanin temel amaci Turkiye’de turizm gelirleri, uluslararasi turist sayisi ve ekonomik buyume arasindaki iliskiyi incelemektir. Bu amacla 1980-2014 donemi incelenmis olup yillik veriler kullanilmistir. Calismada yontem olarak Pesaran v.d (2001) ARDL sinir testi ve uzun donem esbutunlesme katsayilari tahmini kullanilmistir. Analiz sonucuna gore hem uzun hem de kisa donemde turizm gelirlerinin ekonomik buyume uzerinde etkisinin oldugu sonucuna ulasilmistir. Kisa donem hata duzeltme katsayisi beklenildigi uzere negatif ve istatistiki olarak anlamli bulunmustur. Dolayisiyla elde edilen sonuclar ekonomik buyume uzerinde turizm gelirlerinin pozitif bir etkisi oldugunu gostermektedir. Bu bilgiler isiginda sonuc kisminda cesitli politika onermelerinde bulunulmustur.
