GOBERNANZA COMPARADA DEL AGUA

Abstract

Es fundamental pensar en la crisis del agua a escala planetaria, en el contexto de una crisis ambiental también global. Así, este trabajo abordó la cuestión de la gobernanza comparada del agua seleccionando de forma aleatoria algunos modelos de países distintos de Brasil. Por lo tanto, el objetivo que se persigue es describir y analizar los modelos de gobernanza del agua de Israel, Sudáfrica, México, Australia, España y Estados Unidos, como parte de una investigación más amplia que se ha llevado a cabo recientemente. Se utilizó el método deductivo, con análisis documental y estudio bibliométrico y revisión bibliográfica. Se comprobó la complejidad de la gobernanza del agua debido a sus múltiples usos y a que hay varios actores públicos y privados involucrados. El problema de la escasez ya sea por la ausencia de agua o por su existencia de forma contaminada, es un hecho en varias naciones, y es necesaria la aplicación de soluciones integradas y supranacionales.
