Abstract

O conversor detalhado neste trabalho é do tipo retificador de 18 pulsos com estágio de entrada baseado em autotransformador associado a estágios CC-CC elevadores de tensão com controle pela técnica de histerese constante, na qual a banda (ou largura) de histerese é mantida fixa. Trata-se de uma proposta de conversor relativamente compacto, com módulos CC-CC independentes, de potência específica da ordem de 300 W/kg e com controle completamente analógico e de baixo custo. A independência de operação entre os módulos elevadores de tensão, garantida por modificações nos circuitos destes estágios CC-CC, simplifica a estratégia de controle, permite sua associação em paralelo e favorece o balanceamento natural de potências processadas nos estágios, ou seja, a divisão igualitária da potência total entre cada módulo associado. Os autores propõem a utilização do novo conversor em substituição a estágios retificadores de baixa qualidade de energia, acionamentos elétricos e demais casos em que se necessite de um barramento CC regulado e robusto. Os resultados experimentais indicam fator de potência de 99% e distorções harmônicas das correntes de entrada de 6% para um protótipo de 6 kW alimentado em 220 V/ 60 Hz e com saída CC de 400 V.
