Uma nova topologia de UPS monofásica não isolada baseada em conversores boost

Abstract

Este artigo apresenta uma nova topologia de fonte ininterrupta de energia monofásica não-isolada, que supera algumas desvantagens das topologias existentes para médias e baixas potências. Algumas características apresentadas pela UPS proposta são: pequeno número de semicondutores, baixa tensão de bateria, flexibilidade para a seleção das tensões da rede de entrada e da carga, neutro comum entre a rede elétrica de entrada e a carga, eliminando a necessidade de um transformador isolador. A UPS proposta é composta de três conversores boost bidirecionais, onde a rede elétrica de entrada e a carga são conectadas em modo diferencial entre os terminais de saída destes conversores. O controle da UPSé implementado em modo de deslizamento e, para melhorar a robustez e a confiabilidade, é proposto um limitador de corrente. Neste artigo, são apresentados o princípio de operação, análise do circuito, descrição do controlador e resultados experimentais para os dois modos típicos de operação que são: Modo de Operação Normal e Modo de Operação Inversor. A operação do limitador de corrente é verificada experimentalmente sob algumas condições de transitórios de carga, tais como curto-circuito na saída e operação com cargas não lineares.
