PREVALÊNCIA DE TONTURA EM TRABALHADORES

Abstract

Os órgãos vestibulares são responsáveis por identificar o movimento da cabeça quando desequilibrados causam vertigem, cinetose, tontura e consequente desequilíbrio. A tontura acomete de 20 a 30% da população mundial. Teve-se por objetivo avaliar a presença de tontura nos trabalhadores atendidos em um Núcleo de Promoção e Atenção Clínica à Saúde do Trabalhador. Foi aplicado um formulário online com 19 pacientes com idade entre 20 e 55 anos, contendo questões sobre a tontura, além da ferramenta adaptada do questionário DHI e ICT. A idade média dos participantes é 39,58 anos. A capacidade de trabalho obtida pelo ICT, foi em média 6,74 pontos. Com o DHI, observou-se o relato de alguns movimentos específicos. A frequência de tontura entre os trabalhadores foi de 29,8%. Grande parte dos entrevistados não sentem tontura isolada, mas associada com vertigem e/ou cinetose. No questionário DHI, os participantes relataram que movimentos rápidos pioram sua tontura, uma pesquisa relatou que a tontura nesses movimentos, é típico em de Vertigem Paroxística Posicional Benigna (VPPB). A frequência de tontura encontrada nos trabalhadores do Núcleo do estudo foi consideravelmente alta, e evidenciamos a carência de estudos sobre a Reabilitação Vestibular, principalmente no Brasil, gerando escassez de informação na população em geral.
