Projeto Ótimo de Pilares Esbeltos de Concreto Armado

Abstract

O dimensionamento de pilares de concreto armado necessita atender às normalizações vigentes. Estruturas com pé-direito muito alto, ou duplo, podem conter pilares esbeltos. A utilização de pilares com índices de esbeltez entre 90 e 140 exige a consideração dos efeitos de segunda ordem pelo método do pilar-padrão ou pilar-padrão melhorado, com a curvatura da seção crítica obtida pelos diagramas de interação momento-força normal-curvatura (M, N, 1/r). Nesses casos, é obrigatória também a consideração da fluência. Este artigo se justifica pela pequena quantidade de estudos de pilares com este índice de esbeltez e será baseado na norma de procedimento para o projeto de estruturas de concreto (ABNT NBR 6118:2014). Definidas as verificações necessárias, o objetivo deste artigo passa a ser calcular a geometria otimizada (em função do custo de formas, aço e concreto) pelo método dos pontos interiores existente no software Matlab. Este estudo englobará pilares com resistência de concreto entre 20 e 90MPa.
