Promovendo a educação ambiental por meio da vermicompostagem

Abstract

Este artigo descreve uma atividade de extensão do grupo PET Ambiental (PETAMB) em parceria com uma escola de Educação Básica. O projeto visou promover o aproveitamento sustentável de resíduos sólidos orgânicos, destacando a conservação ambiental e desenvolvendo a educação ambiental através de uma experiência prática. A ação incluiu visitas do PETAMB à escola, com foco em uma turma do Ensino Fundamental, onde foram realizadas atividades como teatro de fantoches e a criação de uma vermicomposteira, promovendo troca de conhecimentos entre ensino superior e básico.
