La competitividad territorial sostenible dentro de un paradigma de post-crecimiento

Abstract

Este artículo aborda la imperativa necesidad de replantear la noción de competitividad en el marco de la sostenibilidad territorial, destacando la insuficiencia del modelo socioeconómico actual centrado en el crecimiento para enfrentar los desafíos socioambientales contemporáneos. Propone un enfoque hacia un modelo de post-crecimiento, donde la competitividad territorial se redefine bajo los principios de bienestar social, equidad y sostenibilidad ambiental, alejándose del tradicional interés por el crecimiento económico. La aportación principal radica en sugerir estrategias prácticas para la transición hacia un desarrollo territorial sostenible, enfocadas en promover economías circulares locales, gobernanza participativa, y la adopción de indicadores alternativos que prioricen el bienestar y la sostenibilidad sobre el crecimiento económico. Este estudio está orientado a responsables de la formulación de políticas, investigadores y académicos interesados en la economía sostenible, así como a organismos internacionales y ONGs, proponiendo un diálogo entre teoría económica y práctica política para fomentar un desarrollo económico más inclusivo y sostenible.
