Parâmetros morfofisiológicos na avaliação da qualidade de mudas de três espécies florestais

Abstract

O presente estudo teve como objetivo avaliar a qualidade morfofisiológica de mudas de Eucalyptus urophylla, E. camaldulensis e Corymbia citriodora produzidas em blocos prensados e em dois modelos de tubetes (50 e 35 cm3), por meio da determinação do Índice de Qualidade de Dickson (IQD) e do potencial de regeneração de raízes (PRR) em aquários. As avaliações do PRR constaram da determinação dos seguintes parâmetros: número total de raízes regeneradas; número total de raízes regeneradas > 1 cm; comprimento total de raízes regeneradas. Para a determinação do IQD foi adotado o delineamento estatístico em blocos ao acaso, com cinco repetições constituídas de oito mudas, totalizando 40 mudas em cada tratamento. Na avaliação do PRR foi adotado o delineamento inteiramente casualizado, com quatro repetições constituídas de quatro mudas, totalizando 16 mudas em cada tratamento. Os resultados obtidos, por meio da avaliação dos parâmetros morfofisiológicos IQD e PRR, mostraram que as mudas de Eucalyptus urophylla, E. camaldulensis e Corymbia citriodora, produzidas no sistema de blocos prensados, apresentaram o melhor padrão de qualidade morfofisiológica, quando comparados ao sistema de produção de mudas em tubetes, que apresentaram os menores valores para esses parâmetros.
