Sujetos del trabajo precario: el caso de los protagonistas del mercado de la construcción en Brasil

Abstract

<p>Este artículo tiene como objetivo central analizar la rotatividad en la industria de la construcción civil brasileña, sector con el mayor rendimiento en la contratación de trabajadores, en el segundo quinquenio de la primera década de este siglo. Metodológicamente recurre a la revisión de la literatura, complementado con el análisis comparativo de la evolución del perfil de los trabajadores del sector. Entonces, desde el movimiento de admisión y despido de trabajadores, se crea el índice de rotatividad, tratando de retratar aquellos que son los más vulnerables a este proceso. La fuente de datos proviene del Informe Anual de Informaciones Sociales (RAIS) y el Registro General de Empleados y Desempleados (CAGED) del Ministerio de Trabajo y Empleo (MTE). Los años seleccionados incluyen los bienios 2006-2007 y 2009-2010. Los principales resultados muestran un importante crecimiento en la contratación de trabajadores con la participación masiva de mano de obra masculina, se concentró en los grupos de mayor edad, con bajo nivel de educación e ingresos en los rangos salariales de los primeros. Además, la rotatividad resultó ser mayor en los hombres, los jóvenes con baja escolaridad y los ingresos medios en las escala de los primeros.</p>
