CBR cíclico como método alternativo para la determinación del módulo resiliente en suelos blandos de subrasante

Abstract

El CBR cíclico (cCBR) puede ser una alternativa de ensayo para estimar el módulo resiliente (Mr) de suelos blandos de subrasante, de manera relativamente económica y sencilla. En el presente trabajo se presenta una comparación de los resultados obtenidos de Mr, siguiendo la norma de ensayo del Instituto Nacional de Vías, INV 156-13 “Módulo resiliente de suelos y agregados”, cuya norma de referencia es la AASHTO T-307 (Standard Method of Test for Determining the Resilient Modulus of Soils and Aggregate Materials), con el módulo equivalente (Eequi) de muestras de arcilla inalterada de la zona lacustre de la ciudad de Bogotá, obtenido en el ensayo cCBR, adaptado principalmente de la propuesta presentada por investigadores de la Universidad de Delft. Los resultados muestran que la prueba de cCBR es una opción viable para estimar el Mr a partir del Eequi de arcillas blandas, con una confiabilidad del 95 %.
