Abstract

Aim:Today, surgical procedures, medical technology, and improvements in immunosuppressive treatment regimens have increased the number of patients transplanted and the success rate. Despite the increase in the number of transplant patients and the successrate in organ transplantation, there isn’t required increase in the number of organ donors. To status/sitution determination done this study aimed to determine the number and rates of organ donation in Yozgat province. Method:This study was carried out retrospectively in order to evaluate there cords of persons who have donate dorgans in Yozgat between January 2012 and August 2017. The data in the organ and tissue donation system of Turkey have been examined in terms of number of organ donors, number of organs, organ type, number of donors. The data was evaluate as number and percentage. Results:In there cords examined, it was determined that a total of 1.288 individuals were found to have organs donated, %60 of the donating individuals are women, 40% are men and the number of donated organs was 21.681. It was determined that %5.94 1.288 of the donated organs were lung, kidney, small intestine, heart, liver and cornea, %5.90 1.280 pancreas, %3.36 730 uterusand %55.14 11.951 otherorgans. During this period, there were 2 donors all the organs transplantion except the heart transplation. Conclusion:Yozgat province was found to be inadequate about organ donation. In order to increase the number of transfers and donation can be suggested identify the barrier organ donation, to raise the awareness of the society about organ transplantation, organization of publicity and campaigns.

Amaç: Günümüzde cerrahi prosedür, tıbbi teknoloji ve immunosupresif tedavi rejimlerindeki gelişmeler organ nakli yapılan hasta sayısı ve başarı oranını giderek artırmaktadır. Organ naklinde, nakil yapılan hasta sayısı ve başarı oranında artışa rağmen, organ bağışı yapanların sayısında istenilen artış sağlanamamaktadır. Durum tespiti için yapılan bu çalışma, Yozgat ilindeki organ bağışı sayı ve oranlarını belirlemeyi amaçlamıştır. Yöntem: Bu çalışma, Ocak 2012-Ağustos 2017 tarihleri arasında Yozgat’ta organ bağışında bulunan kişi kayıtlarını değerlendirmek amacıyla retrospektif olarak yapılmıştır. Türkiye organ ve doku bağış sisteminde yer alan veriler, organ bağışında bulunan kişi sayısı, organ sayısı, organ türü ve donör sayısı bakımından incelenmiştir. Veriler sayı ve yüzdelik olarak değerlendirilmiştir. Bulgular: İncelenen kayıtlarda toplam 1.288 kişinin organ bağışında bulunduğu, bağış yapan bireylerin %60’ının kadın, %40’nın erkek olduğu, bağışlanan organ sayısının ise, 21.681 adet olduğu saptanmıştır. Bağışlanan organların %5.94’ ünün 1.288 akciğer, böbrek, ince bağırsak, kalp, karaciğer ve kornea olduğu, %5,90’ unun 1.280 pankreas, %3.36’sının 730 uterus ve %55.14’ünün 11.951 diğer organlar olduğu belirlenmiştir. Belirlenen süre zarfında 2 adet donör olduğu ve kalp hariç tüm organların nakil alındığı bulunmuştur. Sonuç: Yozgat ilinin organ bağışı konusunda yetersiz olduğu edilmiştir. Bu nedenle bağış ve nakil sayılarını artırmak için, organ bağışına engel olan durumların tespit edilmesi, toplumun organ nakli konusunda bilinçlendirilmesi, tanıtım ve kampanyaların düzenlenmesi önerilebilir
