Polacy w Boliwii

Abstract

Artykul zawiera przyklady pobytu naszych rodakow wśrod plemion indianskich w Boliwii od konca XIX wieku (okres emigracji i wypraw badawczych polskich naukowcow: Jozefa Jackowskiego, Rudolfa Zubera, Wladyslawa Klugera, Romana Kozlowskiego, Jana Kalinowskiego, Jozefa Warszewicza). Prace misyjne w tym kraju Polacy rozpoczeli w drugiej polowie XX wieku. Jako pierwsi przybyli salezjanie i redemptoryści, a w latach siedemdziesiątych XX wieku – franciszkanie. Posluge misyjną pelnią rowniez misjonarki z roznych zakonow i zgromadzen (m.in. sluzebniczki debickie, albertynki, sercanki). Artykul prezentuje sylwetki wybitnych Polakow i Polek poslugujących w Boliwii: o. Piotra Nawrota (werbista i muzykolog), bpa Krzysztofa Bialasika (werbista, „polski pasterz boliwijskich gorali”), o. Kazimierza Strzepka – „El Misionero”, o. Kacpra Nowakowskiego (franciszkanin OFM), o. Grzegorza Stachowiaka (zmartwychwstancy), s. Miriam (sercanki). Ponadto autorka wspomina tych Polakow, ktorzy juz odeszli, a na zawsze pozostali w sercach Boliwijczykow: o. Bernarda Czaje (werbista), ks. Tomasza Strudzika, ks. Mariusza Graszka. Prezentuje takze obecnie mieszkających w Boliwii – Henryka Nowaka i Mileniusza Spanowicza, fotografa boliwijskiej przyrody.
