La rugosidad influenciada por factores geométricos en fresado de superficies

Abstract

Por medio de modelos experimentales y geométricos, y en un entorno simulado, se determinan valores de rugosidad propia de desviaciones de tercer orden. El entorno de simulación se desarrollada a partir de la integración y verificación simulada (ISV) en software CAD/CAM NX 11. Las aproximaciones geométricas son validadas por medio del análisis de las nubes de puntos. Se realizan dos diseños de experimentos para determinar la influencia de los factores geométricos dinámicos, definidos como avance transversal (Ae), ángulo lead y ángulo tilt, con una herramienta de fresado de punta plana. Un experimento se desarrolla con propósitos de ubicar una zona de influencia de los parámetros mencionados y validar la precisión del entorno simulado. Para el segundo experimento se presenta un modelo factorial , a fin de precisar el factor de mayor influencia sobre la rugosidad. Como resultado de la experimentación se obtiene un valor óptimo (mínimo) de rugosidad, ubicado en zonas en donde el avance transversal es determinante y de alto impacto, el ángulo lead tiene una influencia moderada y el ángulo tilt es el factor de menor influencia. Los valores mínimos de rugosidad se presentan cuando el avance transversal es bajo, el ángulo lead es bajo y el ángulo tilt es alto. El método presentado pretende ahondar en el maquinado para terminado de superficies libres con herramienta de punta plana.
