Las células, entre la ciencia y la literatura

Abstract

En apariencia –si por casualidad se ha echado una mirada a la tabla de contenidos, y bien si se ha ojeado el texto antes de una lectura juiciosa–, los temas que componen este documento de investigación parecieran adustos. Lo que podría corresponderse con el adusto espíritu de la ciencia. (La ciencia no ríe; solo demuestra; y, en ocasiones conjetura). Sin embargo, el ritmo de las cuatro sesiones que articulan este texto avanza al ritmo de la literatura; cuando no, de la poesía y, ocasionalmente, del cine. Un investigador connotado –S. Carroll– ha llamado a la confluencia entre lógica y metáfora naturalismo poético. Los textos son como los hijos: salen como ellos quieren, a pesar de esfuerzos de padres y familia. En la mayoría de los casos, desde luego, es siempre motivo de placer y orgullo.
