Mejora en los procesos de corte, espiralado y ensamble para la fabricación de tamboras de fierro corrugado

Abstract

El estudio se desarrollo en las instalaciones de Industrias Scorsa SAC con el financiamiento del Fondo para la Innovacion, la Ciencia y la Tecnologia (FINCyT)-Innovate Peru, en convenio con la Universidad Continental. Se tuvo como objetivo mejorar los procesos en la fabricacion de tamboras de fierro corrugado para puertas enrollables. El metodo es descriptivo-experimental, descriptivo porque se realizo un diagnostico situacional y se identificaron los cuellos de botella en el proceso de corte, espiralado y ensamble; y experimental debido a que se mejoraron las maquinas que intervinieron en los procesos mencionados anteriormente. Para mejorar las funciones operativas, se adaptaron mecanismos en las maquinas de corte por cizallamiento, roladora o espiraladora de fierro corrugado y matriz de ensamble de la tambora, asi como disminuir los tiempos de fabricacion, reducir la mano de obra, mejorar la calidad de la tambora e incrementar la produccion.El tiempo de fabricacion de una tambora en el primer proceso es de 7 minutos por tambora, y su falta de calidad genera como resultado una merma del 16,6 %; luego de mejorar los procesos, el tiempo de fabricacion por tambora se redujo a 4.38 minutos y la reduccion de la merma es menor al 3 %, incrementando su produccion; por tanto, la calidad de la tambora es mas simetrica debido a la mejora en el espiralado.
