Abstract

Este trabajo fue desarrollado entre los meses de julio y septiembre de 2006, como parte de las actividades de la Red de Educación del Diálogo Regional de Política impulsado por el Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo (BID). La Red de Educación es un espacio creado para discutir políticas e iniciativas para América Latina y el Caribe por medio del intercambio de ideas y de buenas prácticas, del análisis de problemas comunes y de la revisión de estudios sobre los avances de la política educativa a nivel mundial. El informe se propone presentar un cuadro de situación de las relaciones entre las organizaciones docentes y los gobiernos en el marco de las reformas educativas en América Latina y el Caribe, con el objeto de identificar algunos de los aprendizajes que se pueden obtener de las experiencias recientes y de generar ideas para mejorar el diálogo y la cooperación entre ambos actores.
